Role Description
The Senior Legal Counsel will oversee and manage all legal matters, providing strategic legal advice and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Responsibilities include drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts; addressing legal issues; and providing counsel on corporate policies and regulatory requirements. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Ogun State, Nigeria. The Senior Legal Counsel will collaborate closely with leadership to mitigate risks and safeguard company interests.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge in Law and expertise in addressing various Legal Issues
- Proven experience in Contract Negotiation and Legal Document Preparation
- Exceptional skills in providing sound Legal Advice and guidance
- Ability to interpret and apply local laws and regulations
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Experience in corporate legal settings or experience handling real estate-related legal matters is an advantage
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Law (LLB, JD, or equivalent), and admission to the Bar
- 8-10 years of experience is a pre-requisite for this role
- Preferably Male Lawyer
