Security Surveillance Officer
Job summary
Monitoring the Company's CCTV surveillance systems, security equipment, facility activities, and operational alerts from the Control Room. The role is critical to ensuring the safety and security of personnel, visitors, assets, and company premises through continuous monitoring, timely incident timely incident reporting, and prompt escalation.

Responsibilities:
CCTV Monitoring and Surveillance:
- Monitor CCTV cameras and surveillance systems continuously throughout assigned shifts.
- Observe and identify suspicious activities, security breaches, unauthorized access, safety violations, or operational irregularities.
- Ensure all cameras and surveillance equipment are functioning effectively.
- Promptly report any malfunctioning equipment to the appropriate department for resolution.
Incident Detection and Reporting
- Detect, document, and report security incidents promptly.
- Escalate emergencies, security threats, accidents, or unusual activities to the Security Manager and relevant personnel.
- Maintain accurate incident logs and surveillance records.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly monitoring reports as required.
Access and Movement Monitoring;
- Monitor staff, visitors, contractors, and vehicle movements through surveillance systems.
- Verify compliance with access control procedures.
- Monitor entry and exit points to ensure adherence to company security policies.
Control Room Operations:
- Maintain continuous presence within the Control Room during assigned shifts.
- Monitor alarms, communication systems, and other security equipment.
- Coordinate with security personnel on patrol and provide real-time information when necessary.
- Maintain proper handover procedures between shifts.
Emergency Response Support:
- Support emergency response activities by providing real-time surveillance information.
- Assist in coordinating responses during fire incidents, accidents, medical emergencies, theft, vandalism, or other security events.
- Ensure emergency communication protocols are followed.
Record Keeping and Documentation:
- Maintain surveillance records, occurrence books, incident reports, visitor logs, and other relevant documentation.
- Preserve and retrieve CCTV footage when required for investigations or management review.
- Ensure confidentiality of all surveillance information and recordings.
Compliance:
- Adhere strictly to company policies, security procedures, and confidentiality requirements.
- Support internal investigations when requested.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable security and safety regulations.
Requirements:
- Minimum qualification of OND.
- 2 years of previous experience in a similar role.
