Security Officer

Responsibilities:

• Access Control: Controlling access to the company premises by monitoring incoming and outgoing traffic, including vehicles, pedestrians, and deliveries.
• Verification: Verifying the identity of individuals seeking entry to the premises, including employees, visitors, and contractors, and ensuring they have proper authorization.
• Security Checks: Conducting security checks of vehicles, packages, and belongings to prevent unauthorized items from entering or leaving the premises.
• Visitor Management: Greeting and directing visitors to the appropriate areas of the facility, providing information or assistance as needed, and ensuring a welcoming and professional reception.
• Communication: Communicating with security personnel, supervisors, and other staff members to relay information about arrivals, departures, and security concerns.
• Surveillance: Keeping watch over the entrance area and surrounding grounds to detect and deter suspicious activities or security breaches.
• Emergency Response: Responding quickly and appropriately to security incidents, emergencies, or alarms, and coordinating with security personnel or management as needed.
• Record-Keeping: Maintaining accurate records of incoming and outgoing vehicles, visitors, and deliveries, including logging relevant details such as license plate numbers, names, and contact information.
• Safety Compliance: Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies, such as wearing personal protective equipment and following traffic control procedures.
• Customer Service: Providing courteous and professional assistance to employees, visitors, and vendors, and addressing inquiries or concerns in a helpful manner.
