Job Summary

A Sales Representative, is responsible for using his or her knowledge of company products or services to connect with consumers and generate sales for their employer. Their duties include developing sales pitches to sell products or services, making calls to sales leads or taking calls from prospective customers and maintaining documentation of their sales like invoices or client contracts, volume of purchase, interest in a specific product, dispatch of reoccurrence purchase etc. The main responsibilities of a Sales Representative revolve around the ability to network, build relationships with clients and persuade others to purchase products.

  • Minimum Qualification: HND
  • Experience Level: Entry level
  • Experience Length: 2 years

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • To network, build relationships with clients and persuade others to purchase products.  
  • Study the product/company to be knowledgeable about the product
  • Identify prospective customers
  • Lead generation and conversion
  • Contact new and existing customers to discuss needs as they arise
  • Emphasize the features of products to highlight how they solve customer problems
  • Answer questions about the products
  • Negotiate prices and terms and prepare sales agreements
  • Collaborate with colleagues in many different sectors to enhance sales
  • Maintain contact lists and follow up with customers to continue relationships
  • Drive subscription for magazine


Remuneration: NGN 50,000

  • Call card, transportation allowance 15,000.00
  • Commission: 5 percent
