A leading FMCG company seeks results-driven Sales Managers to grow its Tissue & Hygiene Division in Abeokuta and Ibadan. The role involves expanding distribution networks, managing key accounts, and driving revenue while ensuring strong market execution, product visibility, and customer engagement.

Job descriptions & requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and market share targets
  • Identify, onboard, and manage distributors and key partners
  • Drive customer acquisition and retention across assigned territories
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and provide actionable insights
  • Ensure consistent market visits, field execution, and reporting
  • Manage and support field sales teams where applicable
  • Track performance against KPIs and implement corrective actions where necessary
  • Ensure product availability, pricing compliance, and visibility across assigned territories.
  • Review stock levels, demand forecast, and support distributors with stock planning
  • Handle escalations from key retailers and trade partners.
  • Oversee trade activations, marketing campaigns, and product launches in the field.
  • Prepare weekly/monthly sales performance reports and recommend strategic actions.

 

Requirements:

  • HND/Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
  • Minimum of 3–5 years experience in FMCG sales or related industry with at least 1–2 years in field supervision.
  • Proven experience in distribution and market expansion
  • Ability to manage multiple territories
  • Good knowledge of the Abeokuta and Ibadan markets 
  • Strong network of distributors, wholesalers, and retailers.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical and territory planning abilities.
  • Ability to travel frequently across multiple markets.
  • Must be highly strategic, field-oriented, and results-driven.
