A leading FMCG company is seeking a results-driven Sales Manager to lead and drive the Tissue & Hygiene Division’s market expansion across Ibadan. This role is ideal for commercially minded professionals with a strong track record in market development, distribution expansion, and revenue growth.

Job descriptions & requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and market share targets. 
  • Identify, onboard, and manage distributors and key partners 
  • Drive customer acquisition and retention across assigned territories 
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities, and provide actionable insights. 
  • Ensure consistent market visits, field execution, and reporting. 
  • Manage and support field sales teams where applicable. 
  • Track performance against KPIs and implement corrective actions where necessary. 
  • Ensure product availability, pricing compliance, and visibility across assigned territories.
  • Review stock levels and demand forecasts and support distributors with stock planning
  • Handle escalations from key retailers and trade partners.
  • Oversee trade activations, marketing campaigns, and product launches in the field.
  • Prepare weekly/monthly sales performance reports and recommend strategic actions.


Requirements:

  • OND/Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field 
  • Minimum of 3–5 years' experience in FMCG sales or a related industry with at least 1–2 years in field supervision. 
  • Proven experience in distribution and market expansion 
  • Ability to manage multiple territories 
  • Good knowledge of the Ibadan markets 
  • Strong network of distributors, wholesalers, and retailers.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical and territory planning abilities.
  • Ability to travel frequently across multiple markets.
