Sales & Business Development Manager
Job summary
We are seeking a high-energy Sales & Business Development Manager to represent Culture Custodian to corporate brands. You will be responsible for identifying aligned brands, pitching our advertising across digital channels and events, and offering clients high-quality visual storytelling, YouTube integrations, and social media show opportunities.
Job descriptions & requirements
- Proactively identify and engage Marketing Managers, Brand Managers, and agencies to pitch Culture Custodian’s advertising, content, and partnership opportunities across digital channels, podcasts, and live events.
- Develop and present customized proposals for brand collaborations, sponsorships, content integrations, and co-created campaigns.
- Create and deliver compelling pitch decks that showcase our assets for prospective brands.
- Manage the full sales cycle, from initial outreach and discovery meetings to negotiation, contract signing, closing, and post-sale account management.
- Stay updated on brand marketing trends in Nigeria to identify which industries are currently spending on video content, and act as a strategic thought partner to brands looking to break through in smart, effective ways.
- Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with brands that want to connect with culturally engaged and professional audiences.
- Contribute to the preservation and promotion of African culture by supporting partnerships and campaigns that transmit traditional stories, values, and contemporary narratives.

Requirements:
- Proven experience (3+ years) in sales, business development, or media buying (experience in a creative agency or media house is a massive plus).
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. You must be able to speak the language of corporate brands.
- A deep understanding of YouTube, social media trends, and how brands can leverage video content for growth.
- Proficiency in PowerPoint, Google Slides, or Canva to build professional pitch decks.
- You must be disciplined, organized, and capable of hitting targets without constant supervision.

- Remuneration: NGN 4,800,000.00 - NGN 6,000,000.00 annual net (your earning potential is directly tied to your performance.)
