Job Description
At Lesaffre Nigeria, you will be responsible for sales administration, importation, and exportation activities in compliance with the local legislation, the Lesaffre Group guidelines, and the regional Sales strategy.
Your missions will be:
Sales administration
- Be the key contact for Lesaffre Nigeria clients, providing excellent customer service
- Organize and follow up on sales administration for Nigeria and export markets
- Record customer orders, coordinate deliveries, and monitor payments
- Prepare and update daily stock and sales reports
- Coordinate and optimize sales administration to increase sales and meet budget targets
- Organize the delivery of sample products and promotional materials
- Follow processes for orders, forecasts, logistics, invoicing, and contracts
- Manage office supply purchasing
- Participate in accounting closings
- Host and care for visitors to Lesaffre Nigeria
Importation & Regulatory
- Manage and coordinate all importation processes
- Ensure compliance with Nigerian import regulations and customs requirements
- Monitor import documentation accuracy and track shipments
- Anticipate and resolve customs or port-related issues to minimize delays and extra costs
- Liaise with internal and external partners to ensure smooth operations
- Monitor import costs, duties, demurrage, and logistics performance indicators
- Maintain updated knowledge of Nigerian import regulations and foreign exchange procedures
Regulatory Coordination & Compliance Implementation
- Coordinate with relevant government authorities to ensure full compliance with statutory and industry regulations
- Ensure product safety and support inspection processes
- Process product registrations, maintain documentation, and support audits
- Obtain permits and ensure compliance for promotional materials
Qualifications
You have at least 5 years of experience in customer service, export sales, and distributor network management with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, International Trade, Logistics, Economics or a related field. Experience in FMCG or food sector is a plus.
Technical Skills
- Familiar with reporting creation
- Strong knowledge of logistics and operations management
- Proficiency in MS Office and expertise in MS Excel
- Advanced planning, organization, and coordination skills

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Dynamic, active, and willing to take on workloads
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
