Responsibilities:
- Enforce health and safety policies on the construction site
- Conduct daily site inspections and identify potential hazards
- Ensure compliance with HSE regulations and company safety standards
- Prepare and submit safety reports and incident documentation
- Organize safety inductions, toolbox talks, and training sessions
- Investigate accidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions
- Ensure proper use of PPE by all site workers
- Liaise with site supervisors to correct safety violations promptly
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Safety Officer on construction sites
- Good knowledge of HSE standards and construction safety practices
- Relevant Health & Safety certification is an advantage
- Strong observation, reporting, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and enforce safety rules firmly
