Robotics and AI Teacher

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement a dynamic Robotics and AI curriculum that aligns with the educational goals of the school and national standards.
• Create lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessments that cater to different learning styles and levels of understanding.
• Deliver engaging and interactive lessons on robotics, AI, programming, and related subjects.
• Use hands-on projects and real-world applications to help students grasp complex concepts.
• Encourage creativity and critical thinking through project-based learning and problem-solving activities.
• Guide students in the development of their own robotics and AI projects, providing mentorship and support.
• Prepare students for participation in local, national, and international robotics competitions.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to foster improvement and growth.
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in robotics and AI technologies, and integrate them into the classroom.
• Utilize educational software, simulations, and tools to enhance the learning experience.
• Organize and lead extracurricular clubs or activities related to robotics and AI, such as a Robotics Club or Coding Club.
• Facilitate workshops, hackathons, and other events that promote interest in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics).
• Collaborate and engage with other teachers and departments to integrate robotics and AI into broader educational initiatives.
• Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay current with technological trends.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 
• A Master’s degree is an advantage.
• Teaching certification or relevant teaching experience, particularly in secondary education.
• Strong knowledge of robotics, AI, programming languages (e.g., Python, C++, Java), and relevant educational technologies.
• Experience with robotics platforms and AI tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to inspire and motivate students with a passion for learning.
• Strong organizational and classroom management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience teaching in a high school setting.
• Familiarity with the educational curriculum and standards.
• Participation in robotics competitions or similar extracurricular activities.
