Risk, finance and commercial intern

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Risk, Finance & Business Operations Intern to support our healthcare financing and operational activities. The intern will work across hospital relationship management, patient onboarding, financial operations, repayment monitoring, customer engagement, and business growth initiatives.

The ideal candidate should have strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills, with interest in finance, healthcare operations, customer relationship management, and risk management.

Key ResponsibilitiesHospital & Partner Relationship Management

• Support relationship management with partner hospitals, clinics, pharmacies, and healthcare providers.
• Assist in onboarding and coordinating healthcare partners.
• Maintain communication with hospital representatives regarding patient financing and service delivery.
• Help ensure smooth operational coordination between healthcare providers and internal teams.

Patient Relationship & Customer Support

• Support patient onboarding and financing application processes.
• Maintain regular communication with patients regarding repayments, account updates, and support inquiries.
• Assist in resolving customer complaints and improving patient experience.
• Track customer engagement, retention, and satisfaction metrics.

Finance & Loan Operations

• Assist with financial tracking, reconciliations, and reporting.
• Support repayment monitoring and loan recovery activities.
• Follow up with customers on outstanding repayments professionally and respectfully.
• Help maintain accurate financial and operational records.
• Support revenue tracking and financial performance reporting.

Risk Management & Compliance

• Support customer verification and due diligence processes.
• Assist in identifying high-risk accounts and repayment patterns.
• Help monitor fraud prevention and compliance procedures.
• Maintain proper documentation for operational and compliance purposes.

Business Operations & Growth

• Assist with pipeline management and customer acquisition activities.
• Support operational process improvements and workflow coordination.
• Assist with digital marketing and customer engagement campaigns.
• Contribute to growth initiatives aimed at expanding partnerships and users.

Qualifications

• Currently studying or recently graduated in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Marketing, or related fields.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in customer service, finance, collections, or operations is an advantage.
• Familiarity with CRM systems, digital tools, or data reporting is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
