Job summary
The Retail Marketer is responsible for promoting the company’s products within retail outlets to drive sales, increase brand awareness, and improve customer engagement. The role focuses on executing marketing campaigns at the point of sale, building strong relationships with retailers and customers, and ensuring product visibility and availability.
Job descriptions & requirements
- Promote products in retail stores through in-store marketing and demonstrations.
- Develop and maintain relationships with retail partners and store managers.
- Ensure proper product display, merchandising, and shelf positioning.
- Collect market feedback and customer insights to support marketing strategies.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment with sales or supply teams.
- Support promotional campaigns, discounts, and product launches.
- Track competitor activities and market trends.
- Prepare marketing and sales performance reports.
- Handle customer inquiries and provide product information.
- Minimum of OND/HND or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- Proven experience in retail marketing, sales, or field marketing is an advantage.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Good understanding of merchandising and customer behavior.
- Willingness to travel between retail locations.
- Basic computer and reporting skills.
