Job Summary
Our mission at BRIC is to provide credible research-based data, markets and consumer insights, and related services that support business startups, MSME’s, entrepreneurs, investors and the public sector. BRIC is an innovation of Braveworld Sages ltd. In furtherance of our mission, we require the services of research officers to champion the acquisition of business, news and valuable insights about the inner working of Nigerian business sectors such as agriculture, tech, entertainment or others. We focus on balanced reportage and digging deep to find opportunities in every sector.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough business research on economic sectors such as agriculture, technology, entertainment or others, and their sub-sectors such as livestock, crop production, fintech, software/app development, event industry, fashion, or others.
- Identify and develop discussion points on topical issues in the Nigerian business space. An example of such discussion points could be, “Tax laws and 2026, what happens going forward?”. The foregoing is for illustrative purposes only.
Requirements:
- First degree, OND/HND (or higher academic qualification) from any discipline
- 1-3 years of experience
- Have a passion to communicate in writing.
- S/He should be open-minded, inquisitive and possess strong interpersonal and communication (oral and written) skills.
- Computer skills are absolutely required.
- A person who can work with very minimal or no supervision.
- Although this is not a strong requirement, persons with prior research or editorial experience would have added advantages.
- We would prefer persons based in Ilorin, Kwara state.
Work Mode: Flexible (Hybrid)
Remuneration: NGN 80,000 - 150,000
