Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Plan and supervise the production of magazines, newspapers and other publications.
- Coordinate production schedules and ensure timely delivery of projects.
- Oversee the design, layout, printing and finishing of publications.
- Liaise with printers, designers, suppliers and production partners.
- Monitor production quality and ensure materials meet required standards.
- Manage production budgets, resources and operational costs.
- Identify and resolve production challenges and delays.
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of production equipment.
- Coordinate with editorial, design and distribution teams.
- Prepare production reports and recommend operational improvements.
Requirements:
- HND in Mass Communication, Printing Technology, Production Management or a related field.
- Relevant experience in media or print production.
- Strong knowledge of printing processes and publication production.
- Excellent organisational, planning and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage production teams, suppliers and deadlines.
- Good budgeting and resource management skills.
- Strong problem-solving and quality control abilities.
- Proficiency in relevant production and project management tools.
