We are seeking a highly innovative and results-driven Research & Development (R&D) Officer (Seasoning Cubes/Powder) to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, improving, and commercializing seasoning cubes, seasoning powders, spice blends, marinades, and other food products.

Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Develop new seasoning cubes, seasoning powders, spice blends, sauces, marinades, and other food products.
Improve existing formulations to enhance taste, quality, shelf life, and profitability.
Conduct laboratory and production trials for new and existing products.
- Perform sensory evaluations and product performance assessments.
- Research market trends, consumer preferences, and competitor products.
- Identify opportunities for product innovation and continuous improvement.
- Work closely with Production, Quality Assurance, Procurement, and Sales teams to ensure successful product commercialization.
- Conduct shelf-life studies and product stability testing.
- Troubleshoot formulation and product quality issues.
- Ensure products comply with NAFDAC and other regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate documentation of formulations, trials, specifications, and product development activities.
- Support cost optimization initiatives through ingredient and process improvement
Requirements:
- Minimum of a BSC
- 4 years of previous experience in a similar role
