Radiologist

Location: Ibadan, Oyo State

Employment Type: Full-Time

Salary: ₦2,000,000 – ₦3,500,000 Gross/Month

Relocation: Candidates must live or be willing to relocate to Ibadan.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Consultant Radiologist to join a leading diagnostic imaging centre committed to delivering high-quality, consultant-led diagnostic services. The successful candidate will work within a multidisciplinary team, providing accurate and timely diagnostic reporting while contributing to clinical excellence, quality improvement, and patient-centred care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Interpret and report diagnostic imaging studies, including CT, ultrasound, and digital X-ray.
  • Deliver accurate, timely, and high-quality diagnostic opinions to support clinical decision-making.
  • Collaborate with referring physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure excellent patient outcomes.
  • Participate in clinical governance, quality assurance, and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
  • Support the development and enhancement of specialised diagnostic imaging services.
  • Contribute to teaching, mentorship, and professional development activities.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and uphold the highest standards of patient confidentiality.
  • Ensure compliance with professional, ethical, and regulatory standards.

Requirements

  • Fellowship of the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria (FMCR) or the West African College of Surgeons (FWACS) in Radiology, or an equivalent recognised qualification.
  • Full registration with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).
  • Valid Annual Practising Licence.
  • Proven experience in diagnostic radiology.
  • Strong reporting and diagnostic interpretation skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and commitment to patient-centred care.

Experience in women's imaging, breast imaging, obstetric ultrasound, musculoskeletal ultrasound, or other subspecialty imaging areas will be an added advantage.
