Job summary
We are seeking a Microbiologist/QC Officer to manage microbiological testing and support quality control activities in our medical device manufacturing facility. The role includes laboratory testing, environmental monitoring, documentation and GMP/NAFDAC compliance, with opportunities to learn and grow with the company.

Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Perform microbiological and routine QC testing of raw materials, in-process materials and finished products.
- Collect and test samples according to approved procedures and specifications.
- Conduct environmental monitoring and microbiological testing as required.
- Prepare, label and maintain laboratory media, reagents and test materials.
- Accurately record, review and report laboratory test results.
- Identify and report out-of-specification results, deviations and non-conformities.
- Maintain QC laboratory equipment, records and documentation.
- Ensure testing activities comply with GMP, SOPs and applicable NAFDAC requirements.
- Support QA, Production and other departments on quality-related investigations and corrective actions.

Requirements:
- A minimum of B.Sc. in Microbiology with at least 1 year of laboratory, QC, or manufacturing experience.
- Knowledge of GMP, microbiological testing, environmental monitoring, and NAFDAC requirements is an advantage.
- Strong documentation, attention to detail, and computer skills are an added advantage.
- Must be willing to learn, take responsibility, and grow with the company.
