Quantity Surveyor Officer

Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate cost estimates for construction projects, including materials, labor, and equipment.
• Conduct thorough cost analysis and value engineering to optimize project budgets.
• Monitor project expenses and track costs throughout the construction process.
• Review and negotiate contracts with suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Prepare and submit progress reports, payment requests, and other documentation as required.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects to ensure cost-effective solutions and adherence to project timelines.
• Conduct on-site inspections and assessments to evaluate progress and identify potential cost-saving opportunities.
• Keep abreast of industry trends, regulations, and best practices in quantity surveying.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a Quantity Surveyor or in a similar role. 
• Proficiency in quantity surveying software and MS Office applications.
• Strong understanding of construction contracts, procurement methods, and cost management principles.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and negotiation abilities.
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and precision.
• Professional certification (e.g., RICS, AIQS) is a plus.
