Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to join our team at NASCON. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the contractual and financial side of construction projects.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Preparing tender documents, contracts, budgets, and bills of quantities Conducting cost control, cost analysis, and cost forecasting throughout the project lifecycle Assessing and evaluating project variations and preparing change orders Performing site visits and measure quantities for payment certificates and valuations Preparing and negotiating final accounts and settlements Reviewing and analyzing project schedules and progress reports Requirements Summary
A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field Minimum of 5 years of experience working as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry Proficient in using quantity surveying software and Microsoft Office Suite Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure Excellent communication and negotiation skills Valid professional membership/license from recognized Quantity Surveying association Requirements
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or related field Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor Skills and Competencies
Proficient in using quantity surveying software and Microsoft Office Suite Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure Excellent communication and negotiation skills Valid professional membership/license from recognized Quantity Surveying association Benefits
