Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily quality control and assurance operations in the production facility
- Conduct routine inspections, audits, and product tests to ensure compliance
- Develop and enforce food safety and quality control procedures
- Ensure compliance with SON (Standards Organisation of Nigeria) and NAFDAC (National
- Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control) regulations
- Maintain accurate quality records and documentation
- Train production staff on food safety, hygiene, and quality practices
- Investigate and resolve quality-related complaints or issues
Requirements:
- Minimum of B.Sc in Food Science, Microbiology, or any food-related discipline
- At least 3 years of proven experience in a similar Quality Control/Assurance role within the food industry, particularly in a spice production company
- In-depth knowledge of SON and NAFDAC policies, regulations, and compliance procedures
- Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Candidates within and around Nasarawa will be considered
