Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and implement Project Quality Management Plans (PQMP).
- Develop Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and method statements.
- Conduct site inspections and monitor ongoing construction activities.
- Review material submittals, shop drawings, and technical documents.
- Ensure compliance with contract specifications and approved standards.
- Issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and follow up on corrective actions.
- Coordinate with third-party laboratories for material testing.
- Maintain quality records, reports, and documentation.
- Participate in internal and external quality audits.
- Support project handover documentation and final inspections.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- 3–7 years of experience in quality control/assurance in construction projects.
- Experience in building, infrastructure, or industrial construction projects preferred.
Technical Skills
- Knowledge of construction codes, standards, and regulations.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality management systems.
- Strong understanding of construction materials testing and inspection procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and technical specifications.
- Proficiency in MS Office and quality documentation systems.
Soft Skills
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good communication and coordination abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
