Quality Assurance Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute exploratory and automated tests, create detailed, well-structured test plans, test cases, and test products to identify deficiencies.
• Monitor debugging process results, perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved, and track QA metrics such as defect densities and open defect counts.
• Plan, create, and manage the overall quality planning strategy, and develop and monitor performance metrics for all stages of the production process.
• Liaise with internal teams (developers, product managers, etc.) to identify system requirements and ensure consistent project execution.
• Identify quality assurance process bottlenecks and suggest actionable improvements.
• Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies to continuously enhance testing efficiency.

Requirements:

• Basic familiarity with Node.js, Django, or Laravel (or similar), JavaScript/PHP environments, and database management (MySQL, MongoDB, etc.). Hands-on experience with automated testing tools is a plus.
• Strong understanding of software QA processes, testing types (manual, automated, regression, API testing), and QA best practices.
• Experience with  Postman, Cypress, Selenium WebDriver, and platforms like Azure DevOps or Bitbucket.
• Creating clear, concise test plans and test cases. Execute manual and automated tests while testing, troubleshooting, and reporting issues on web and mobile applications. Experience testing web and mobile applications, including both frontend and backend components, is a plus.
• Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and attention to detail to identify and resolve issues efficiently.  Takes initiative, adapts to fast-paced environments, and demonstrates pride in delivering high-quality results.
