Quality Assurance Intern

Digital Nexus AI is primarily into Software Development with a focus on Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and cutting-edge technologies. Some of our projects are related to Emotion Detection, Face Detection, Stock market prediction, Biotechnology, etc. Our primary focus clients are in Hospitality and Finance in the USA, Dubai, Germany, Canada, and India.

This is a remote unpaid internship position for Quality Assurance / Testing. Duration of 6months.

As an QA intern, you will learn and work on testing web applications, APIs and web services. You will work in a team that performs the tests, identifies bugs in the application and reports them on the bug tracking system. You will be required to develop and maintain test cases, as well as perform manual and automated testing.

You will learn and work on the below aspects:

• Understanding web applications and how they work.
• Writing test cases as per the given system requirements and functionalities.
• Performing system tests in multiple rounds.
• Writing SQL queries to ensure data quality checks.
• Using Selenium for creating automated test cases.
• Creating Performance tests using tools like JMeter.
• UI testing, browser, cache, cookies.
• Test the application for Cyber Security threats like SQL Injection attacks, Cross site scripting attacks and perform Vulnerability assessment using tools like Burp suite and others.

Below are some skills for an ideal candidate:

• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel / Google sheets.
• Basic knowledge of Web Applications.
• Good understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
• Some experience with programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Ability to work remotely.
