OneWallet MFB is hiring a QA Engineer & Tester to test its mobile app, web dashboards, APIs, wallet transactions, KYC, transfers, bills, POS, QR/NQR payments, device financing, and reconciliation flows, ensuring stable releases, accurate balances, secure systems, and a smooth customer experience.

Job descriptions & requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Test Design & Execution: Write detailed test plans, cases, and scripts for web, mobile, or backend applications.
  • Automation: Develop and maintain automated test scripts using frameworks.
  • Defect Tracking: Log, prioritize, and track bugs using project management platforms.
  • Collaboration: Review project requirements and acceptance criteria with product managers and developers to ensure testability.
  • Performance Testing: Conduct load, stress, and scalability testing


Requirements:

  • The candidate must have strong experience in manual and automated testing of web, mobile, API, and fintech/payment systems.
  • They must be able to design and execute test cases for onboarding, KYC, wallet transactions, transfers, bill payments, POS flows, QR payments, device financing, admin dashboards, and settlement/reconciliation reports.
  • The candidate must be comfortable testing REST APIs using Postman or similar tools, validating request/response payloads, reviewing logs, checking transaction states, and confirming results against backend records or databases. Basic SQL knowledge is required.
  • Experience testing Android mobile applications is required, including testing across different devices, Android versions, network conditions, app updates, crashes, permissions, and poor-connectivity scenarios.
  • The candidate must understand payment failure scenarios, duplicate transaction risks, wallet balance accuracy, reversals, pending transactions, settlement issues, transaction references, and reconciliation gaps.
  • Knowledge of TypeScript/JavaScript, Node.js/NestJS, React Native, Next.js, and/or C#/.NET is an advantage, especially for working closely with engineering teams.
  • Experience with test automation tools such as Playwright, Cypress, Appium, Jest, Postman/Newman, or similar tools is strongly preferred.
