We are looking for a QA/QC Executive with proven experience in a cable/wire manufacturing company. You will own daily quality control from incoming raw materials to final drum release and ensure 100% compliance with SON and IEC standards.

Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Conduct and supervise routine tests: Spark Test, High Voltage (Hi-Pot), Insulation Resistance, Conductor Resistance, Tensile & Elongation, Ageing Oven, Dimensional checks
- Approve incoming raw materials: copper rod, PVC, XLPE, steel
- Perform in-process and final inspection for all cable types and authorize drum release
- Maintain QMS documentation, NCR, CAPA, and calibration records for lab equipment
- Lead preparation for SON MANCAP and ISO 9001:2015 audits
- Train production operators on quality standards and reduce rework and scrap
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly QC reports for management
Requirements:
- 3 - 7 years of QA/QC experience INSIDE a cable/wire manufacturing company - Coleman Wires & Cables, Cutix Plc, Kabelmetal, MicCom, Nigerchin, Cometstar, Denki, or equivalent is compulsory
- Hands-on with cable testing equipment - spark tester, hi-pot tester, megger, vernier, tensile machine
- Good knowledge of NIS IEC 60227, IEC 60228, SON MANCAP requirements
- BSc/HND in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Industrial Chemistry, Polymer Science, or related field
- Lives in or willing to relocate to Sango Ota / Ota / Ifo axis
- Experience with ISO 9001 internal audits (added advantage)
- Experience with XLPE and armoured cables (added advantage)
