Job Summary

The ideal candidate will effectively formulate, plan, and implement sales achievement programs and distribution activities. They will also grow and ensure a high level of visibility, numeric distribution, and market share and grow sales volumes of client products range through efficient management of operations.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:         

  • Provide input into planning for the business and develop plans and processes to ensure effective implementation
  • Provide input into establishing which resources are needed by using the most efficient and cost-effective method to achieve set sales results that meet client objectives
  • Continually benchmark and optimize sales achievement processes against best practice
  • Formulate strategic sales distribution plans, programs, and concepts and be involved in the execution of the route-to-market retail program
  • Ensure breakdown of weekly & monthly agreed sales targets and formal communication of the same
  • Ensure portfolio volume sales growth through demand creation
  • Monitor and check the quality of work produced by field sales staff and take corrective action when necessary
  • Provide regular feedback to the Operations Manager
  • Manage and maintain all operations staff performance documents and scorecards accurately and within required deadlines
  • Develop, implement, and maintain sales operational excellence, policies, and procedures including standard operating procedures


Requirements:

  • Degree in Sales & Marketing or Higher Diploma in Sales & Marketing
  • Business Operations management
  • Minimum Experience: 5 years business experience in sales & marketing, project management,client and staff interaction, and organizational experience at management level
  • Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Computer literacy - MS Office
  • Communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Working knowledge of sales business & distribution channel
  • Leadership skills
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Time management skills
