Project Manager

About This Role
Strivo Labs—a Lagos-based digital solutions, IoT, and software development technology firm—is recruiting a Project Manager for its headquarters in Lagos State. This project leadership position manages end-to-end digital transformation, core banking, payment platform, and fintech software development projects across cross-functional engineering, operations, and client stakeholder teams.
Key Responsibilities

• Project Delivery & Scope Management: Define project charters, scopes, timelines, budgets, and key milestones using Agile/Scrum or Waterfall methodologies.
• Cross-Functional Governance: Coordinate developers, UI/UX designers, QA engineers, and operational teams to deliver digital products on schedule and within budget.
• Risk & Stakeholder Management: Identify technical dependencies, mitigate project bottlenecks, manage vendor relationships, and deliver regular performance status reports to executive management.
• Tooling & Methodologies: Utilize project management platforms (Jira, Asana, Trello, MS Project) to track sprint velocity, backlog refinement, and change requests.
  

Requirements & Qualifications

• Academic Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Management, Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Sector Requirement: 4–7 years of project delivery experience, with mandatory prior exposure to financial services, core banking, payments, or fintech environments.
• Professional Certifications: PMP, PRINCE2, Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), or Agile certifications are highly preferred.
• Core Competencies: Agile development lifecycle, stakeholder management, risk mitigation, change management, and project tracking software tools.
