Job Summary

Our client in the construction industry is sourcing for a Project Manager who would be responsible for overseeing technical operations at a designated site or facility. The Project manager plays a crucial role in maintaining operational efficiency, minimizing downtime, and upholding safety standards.

  • Minimum Qualification: OND
  • Experience Level: Entry level
  • Experience Length: 2 years

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise a team of technicians, providing guidance, training, and support as need
  • Oversee the maintenance and repair of technical systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other facility infrastructure.
  • Coordinate the installation, calibration, and upkeep of technical equipment and machinery.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols, conducting regular safety inspections and addressing any hazards or concerns.
  • Maintain inventory levels for spare parts, tools, and supplies necessary for technical operations.
  • Liaise with external vendors and contractors for specialized technical services and support.
  • Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment inspections, and repairs.
  • Respond promptly to technical emergencies, coordinating the resolution of issues and minimizing disruptions to operations.
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency enhancements within technical operations. 
  • Utilize appropriate measurement techniques to assess equipment performance,energy usage, and facility conditions.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, management, and other stakeholders, providing updates on technical issues and project statuses.


Requirements:

  • ND/OND holder in engineering, facilities management, or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a technical or facilities management role.
  • Supervisory or leadership experience is a plus.
  • Strong technical understanding and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication abilities.
  • Leadership capabilities.
  • Organizational and time management skills.
  • Safety awareness.
  • Proficiency in relevant computer applications.
