Project Engineer
Job summary
The Project Engineer is responsible for supporting the planning, design, and execution of engineering projects, particularly in the deployment of renewable energy and mini-grid systems. The role involves coordinating technical activities, ensuring that projects are delivered according to specifications, timelines, and quality standards.

Responsibilities:
- Develop a detailed project plan that includes timelines, resources, etc.
- Construction of the Generation Yard, which includes Perimeter Fencing, power house plinth (Base and Slabs), PV rack construction, Installation of Solar Panels, wiring within the Gen Yard, Power House Connection, and energization.
- Provide technical support and guidance to the project team members (Lines, Metering, welding, and construction departments)
- Supervising all jobs going on within the project Jurisdiction, ensuring all team members adhere to the design and system specification. Also, making sure all team members are on track to meet the project timeline.
- Coordinate with various teams, including design, construction, and maintenance teams, to ensure project goals are met.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports, technical specifications, etc.
- Maintain effective communication with the Construction Manager, Various team members, stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and vendors.
- Identify and resolve technical issues and problems that arise during the project.
Requirements:
- B.SC/HND in electrical engineering or any related field.
- 3-4 years’ experience in the renewable energy sector.
- proficient in project management software and engineering design tools.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and decision-making skills.
