Job Summary
We are seeking a Project Design Architect to join our organization. As a Project Design Architect, you will be responsible for translating conceptual ideas into tangible architectural plans, ensuring that our projects align with both aesthetic and functional objectives. Your role will involve collaborating with clients, engineers, and other stakeholders to create innovative and sustainable designs that exceed expectations. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional design skills, a keen eye for detail, and a deep understanding of architectural principles. You will be responsible for assisting teammates in creating project plans and allocating resources. You will communicate and collaborate with team members, ensuring everyone knows the project status and deadlines. To be successful in this role, you must be excellent in using architect software and tools. Exceptional communication is key, to ensuring clear and concise information flow between teams and stakeholders.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Developing innovative and creative architectural concepts in response to clients’ requirements, site conditions, and project constraints.
- Transforming conceptual ideas into detailed architectural designs, considering functionality, aesthetics, and sustainability.
- Collaborating with clients to understand their vision, preferences and requirements, incorporating feedback into the design process.
- Conducting research on relevant design trends, materials, and technologies to ensure design aligns with current industry standards and best practices.
- Using various tools including 3D modelling software to create visual representations of architectural designs for client presentation and communication.
- Preparing comprehensive design documentation, including drawings, specifications and design narratives to guide the technical team during implementation.
- Staying informed about building codes, zoning regulations, and other legal requirements, ensuring that designs comply with all relevant standards.
- Specifying appropriate materials, finishes, and details in accordance with design concepts, functionality and budget considerations.
- Integrating sustainable design principles into architectural concepts, considering energy efficiency, environmental impact, and resource conservation.
- Collaborating with structural engineers, MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) consultants, and other specialists to ensure cohesive integration of various systems into the design.
- Presenting design concepts and proposals to clients, explaining the rationale behind design decisions and addressing any concerns or questions.
- Ensure that the design solutions meet high-quality standards and are feasible for construction within the given constraints.
- Stay abreast of emerging design trends, technologies, and architectural advancements through continuous learning and professional development.
Requirements:
- 3 – 5 years of working experience as a project design architect.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
- Proven experience as a design architect with a portfolio showcasing diverse projects and design solutions.
- Strong understanding of the architectural design process, from conceptualization to construction documentation
- Proficient in basic architectural software such as Autocad, Revit, Sketchup and Adobe Creative skills.
- Strong understanding of materials, finishes and construction detailing with the ability to make appropriate selections based on design intent, functionality and budget.

- Ability to adapt to evolving project requirements, client feedback, and changes in design direction.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Keen attention to detail in both conceptual design and technical documentation to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Strong problem-solving skills to address design challenges and find creative solutions that align with project goals.

Remuneration: NGNÂ 300,000 - 400,000
Working hours: 9: 00 AM – 6:00 PM
Working days: (Mondays –Fridays)
