Project Cost Controller - Construction - Nigeria

Position: Project Cost Controller
Location: Lagos, Nigeria (can vary with project)
Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or related field an equivalent
Experience: 5+ years of experience in construction projects (preferably road/bridge/dam construction)
Roles & Responsibilities

• Conduct financial analysis, budgeting, and cost management for designated projects.
• Process incoming invoices, ensuring proper documentation and alignment with purchase orders and receipts.
• Act as the primary on-site contact for financial reporting, working closely with the senior cost controller at the head office.
• Work in partnership with the project management team to support project delivery.
• Oversee all aspects of project accounting.
• Perform data collection, analysis, and reporting to support decision-making.
• Identify and address potential risks with proactive mitigation plans.
