About Mozisha

Mozisha is building the practice-to-opportunity engine for the AI era in Africa.

We equip Africans with AI-enabled capabilities through role-based workflows, mentorship, apprenticeships, and job pathways, converting AI tool fluency into real economic opportunity.

We work at the intersection of:

  • Universities
  • Employers
  • Global AI platforms (including Google)
  • Africa’s next generation of talent

This is not a traditional training organisation — and we are not looking for a traditional programme manager.

Role Overview

Mozisha is seeking a Programme & Operations Manager to own the end-to-end execution of our AI Workflow programmes across multiple roles, cohorts, and partners.

You will be responsible for turning programme design into high-quality, scalable delivery — ensuring consistency, learner outcomes, employer satisfaction, and partner confidence.

This role is critical to Mozisha’s ability to operate at scale.

Key ResponsibilitiesProgramme Delivery & Quality

  • Execute Mozisha’s AI Workflow programmes across multiple roles (research, marketing, product, creative, analytics)
  • Manage programme timelines, milestones, and deliverables
  • Ensure every cohort produces verified outputs and capability evidence
  • Maintain quality standards across mentors, facilitators, and learners

Operations & Coordination

  • Coordinate mentors, facilitators, and apprenticeship partners
  • Manage virtual delivery logistics across time zones
  • Track learner progress, completion rates, and outcomes
  • Ensure smooth onboarding and transitions between phases (practice → apprenticeship → placement)

University & Employer Engagement (Operational)

  • Support delivery of university-facing activations (e.g. orientation programmes)
  • Coordinate employer pilots and apprenticeships
  • Translate employer needs into workflow execution requirements
  • Ensure employer deliverables are met on time and to standard

Monitoring, Reporting & Improvement

  • Track key programme metrics (completion, output quality, readiness)
  • Prepare reports for internal leadership and partners (including Google-aligned metrics)
  • Identify delivery bottlenecks and implement improvements
  • Support documentation of best practices and playbooks

Process & Systems Development

  • Help operationalise Mozisha’s workflow-based model
  • Improve internal processes for scalability and consistency
  • Work with leadership to evolve programme structures as Mozisha grows

Who We’re Looking ForRequired Experience

  • 5+ years experience in programme management, operations, or delivery roles
  • Experience running complex, multi-stakeholder programmes (education, workforce, tech, or innovation)
  • Comfortable managing virtual programmes across regions
  • Strong organisational and execution skills
  • Experience working with universities, employers, or talent programmes

Strongly Preferred

  • Experience in workforce development, employability, or talent programmes
  • Familiarity with AI, digital skills, or technology-enabled work (not necessarily technical)
  • Experience working in or with African institutions or markets
  • Comfort working with senior stakeholders (universities, employers, global partners)

Critical Attributes

  • Systems thinker — able to manage complexity without chaos
  • Outcome-focused — prioritises real results over activity
  • Detail-oriented — execution quality matters
  • Calm under pressure — handles multiple moving parts
  • Clear communicator — written and verbal
  • Self-directed — thrives in remote environments

What This Role Is Not

  • Not a purely administrative role
  • Not a training coordinator
  • Not a marketing role
  • Not a passive project tracker

This role requires ownership, judgment, and leadership.

What Success Looks Like (First 12 Months)

  • Multiple AI Workflow cohorts delivered successfully
  • High learner completion and employer satisfaction rates
  • Consistent quality across roles and mentors
  • Smooth university and employer pilots executed
  • Clear operational playbooks documented
  • Leadership confident in Mozisha’s ability to scale delivery

Why Join Mozisha

  • Build infrastructure for the future of work in Africa
  • Work closely with the founder and global partners
  • Shape a category-defining model
  • High ownership and real impact
  • Fully remote, mission-driven team

NB: Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
