Product Designer/Product Researcher- NYSC

Responsibilities:

• Conduct user research to understand user needs, behaviors, and pain points.
• Collaborate with product managers to define product requirements and goals.
• Ideate, sketch, and create conceptual designs for new products or features.
• Develop wireframes, prototypes, and user flows to communicate design ideas.
• Iterate designs based on user feedback, usability testing, and data analysis
• Work closely with engineering teams to ensure designs are implemented accurately.
• Maintain design consistency and quality across all products and platforms.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.
• Contribute to the evolution of the design process and methodologies within the organization.
• Present design concepts and proposals to stakeholders and senior leadership

Requirements:

• Minimum academic qualification of Bachelor's degree
• Proven experience as a product designer, UX/UI designer, or similar role
• Strong portfolio showcasing your design process, problem-solving skills, and impact on products
• Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, etc.
• Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies
• Experience with user research techniques such as interviews, surveys, and usability testing
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, agile environment with cross-functional teams
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Passion for creating exceptional user experiences and driving product innovation
