Product Designer Tutor (Volunteer)

FadaQa is a non-profit platform for tech enthusiasts to learn, inspire, network, and build. Our mission is to empower, educate, and foster a borderless tech community where individuals from low socioeconomic backgrounds can access the skills, opportunities, and support needed to improve their standard of living, gain financial independence, and create innovative solutions starting with Africa for FREE.

Currently, we are seeking a remote volunteer for the position of Product Designer Tutor. The responsibilities include:

• Developing comprehensive lesson plans, subject modules, curriculum, and teaching materials for product design topics.
• Assessing student progress and adjusting teaching strategies to ensure effective learning outcomes.
• Providing constructive feedback to enhance students' design skills and critical thinking abilities.
• Collaborating with other tutors and educators to develop innovative approaches to teaching product design.

Qualification

• Proficient in design principles, user experience (UX), user interface (UI) design, design thinking methodologies and other necessary skills.
• Experienced in product design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, etc).
• Previous experience as a tutor, instructor, or trainer is preferred.
