Security Officer

Responsibilities:

• Protect SZH-GROUP's premises, personnel, equipment, and other assets from theft, damage, or unauthorized access.
• Conduct routine patrols of assigned areas to identify and report security risks.
• Control access to company premises by verifying the identity of employees, visitors, and contractors.
• Monitor CCTV cameras and security systems where applicable.
• Respond promptly to emergencies, alarms, accidents, or security breaches.
• Prepare and maintain accurate daily occurrence books (OB), incident reports, and visitor logs.
• Inspect gates, fences, doors, windows, and other security points to ensure they are secure.
• Enforce company security policies and procedures at all times.
• Report suspicious activities or safety hazards to the Security Supervisor immediately.
• Assist with emergencies, evacuations, or other incidents.
• Deliver excellent customer service while maintaining professionalism and courtesy with staff, visitors, and clients.
• Perform any other security-related duties assigned by management.

Requirements:

• Minimum of Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSCE) or equivalent.
• Additional security training or certification is an added advantage.
• Previous experience in private security is desirable but not mandatory.
• Must be at least 18 to 25 years of age.
• Must have no criminal record.
• Willingness to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
• Neat appearance and commitment to maintaining company standards.
• Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods.

Remuneration: NGN 80,000
