Podcast Video Editor

Responsibilities:

• Edit full-length multi-camera podcast episodes (YouTube, Spotify video, etc.)
• Cut engaging short-form clips for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and LinkedIn
• Sync and clean audio: remove noise, filler words, dead air, and mistakes
• Add captions, lower thirds, motion graphics, transitions, and branding
• Colour correct and grade footage for a consistent look
• Create thumbnails or work with the design team on episode thumbnails
• Identify the most compelling moments in each episode for promotion
• Deliver projects on time and in the correct formats for each platform
• Organise project files and maintain a clean archive of assets
• Incorporate feedback quickly and professionally

Requirements:

• 3 years of professional video editing experience, ideally with podcasts or talk-based content
• Expert in Adobe Premiere Pro (or DaVinci Resolve / Final Cut Pro)
• Working knowledge of After Effects for motion graphics and captions
• Strong multi-cam editing and audio sync skills
• Solid understanding of audio editing and mixing (Adobe Audition or similar)
• Good storytelling instincts and an eye for pacing
• Familiarity with social media trends and short-form content formats
• A portfolio or showreel of previous podcast or interview edits (required)
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple projects
• Strong communication skills and openness to feedback
• Reliable laptop/PC capable of handling heavy 4K editing, and stable internet

Nice to Have:

• Experience with AI editing tools (Descript, Opus Clip, etc.)
• Basic graphic design skills (Photoshop, Canva)
• Knowledge of YouTube SEO and audience retention strategies
