Plant Supervisor

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the petrochemical plant to ensure continuous and efficient production.
• Plan and coordinate production activities to meet operational targets.
• Monitor plant performance and implement initiatives to improve productivity and reduce downtime.
• Ensure operational procedures and SOPs are consistently followed.
• Maintenance & Asset Management
• Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Ensure all plant equipment is maintained in optimal working condition.
• Monitor equipment performance and recommend repairs or replacements where necessary.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records.
• Enforce strict compliance with HSE policies and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct routine safety inspections and risk assessments.
• Lead incident reporting, investigations, and corrective action implementation.
• Ensure emergency response procedures are understood and practiced.
• Supervise plant personnel and coordinate daily work schedules.
• Monitor staff productivity and ensure adherence to operational standards.
• Identify training needs and support employee development.
• Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure products meet company quality standards.
• Work closely with QA/QC to resolve quality issues.
• Monitor operational processes to minimize product loss and wastage.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.

Requirements:

• Minimum of a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  
• HSE certification is an added advantage.
  
• Minimum of 5 years' experience managing plant operations within the LPG, manufacturing, oil & gas, or industrial sector.
  
• Demonstrated experience leading operational teams and managing plant equipment

Remuneration: NGN 450,000 – 500,000 Net Monthly.
