Job summary
Responsible for the design, specification, and layout of piping systems in line with project standards and process requirements. Ensures proper material selection, stress analysis, and routing to achieve safe and efficient fluid transport. Coordinates with process, mechanical, and civil teams to integrate piping systems into overall plant design.

Responsibilities:
- A Piping Engineer is responsible for the design, installation, and maintenance of piping systems that transport fluids and gases
- Designing and implementing piping systems to ensure safety and efficiency in oil and gas production and refining.
- Conducting feasibility studies for new pipeline projects and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Coordinating with other team members to ensure project success and providing technical support.
- Overseeing installation, testing, and commissioning of piping systems, as well as troubleshooting and proposing solutions for issues.
- Preparing and presenting technical reports on piping system design, installation, and maintenance.
- Stay current with the latest technology, trends, and best practices in piping engineering.
Requirements:
- B. Eng. Mechanical/Chemical Engineering, Second Class Upper (Minimum).
- Piping Engineers must possess a strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, solid problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- They typically work in an office setting with frequent on-site visits and may require some travel for site inspections and project meetings.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD/PDMS
