Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a pickup truck to transport goods and materials to and from designated locations.
- Load and unload cargo onto the truck, ensuring proper handling and securement of items to prevent damage during transportation.
- Plan and optimize delivery routes to minimize travel time and fuel consumption while meeting delivery schedules.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition and report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate personnel.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and safety standards while driving and operate the vehicle in a defensive manner to ensure the safety of oneself and others on the road.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery receipts, and submit reports to the designated supervisor as required.
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain professional conduct when interacting with customers, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
- Follow company policies and procedures regarding vehicle operation, safety, and security at all times.
Requirements:
- Minimum academic qualification of SSCE
- 2 years of working experience
