About Mamo Sphere
Mamo Sphere is an emerging social enterprise based in Ota, Ogun State, Nigeria, committed to expanding financial inclusion through collateral-free microfinance, financial literacy, and entrepreneurial support for underserved market women and small business owners.
Our vision extends beyond lending. We are building an ecosystem that empowers entrepreneurs, strengthens local economies, and creates sustainable opportunities for communities that are often excluded from traditional financial systems.
We are currently finalizing our state operating licence while laying the foundation for long-term growth through strategic partnerships, grants, sponsorships, philanthropy, and impact investment.
We're still in the early stages of our journey. We don't claim to have everything figured out—but we're building intentionally and looking for exceptional people who want to help shape something meaningful from the ground up.
About the Role
We are looking for a highly proactive Partnerships & Resource Mobilization Lead to help Mamo Sphere secure the resources required to scale its impact.
This is not a traditional fundraising position.
We're looking for someone who understands how to build relationships, identify opportunities, develop strategic partnerships, and connect organizations with the people and institutions that can help them grow.
Key Responsibilities
• Identify relevant grants, fellowships and funding opportunities.
• Build relationships with foundations, corporations, NGOs and development organizations.
• Develop sponsorship proposals and partnership opportunities.
• Coordinate donor and partner outreach.
• Help prepare grant applications and funding proposals.
• Build and maintain a funding pipeline.
• Introduce Mamo Sphere to strategic partners and investors where appropriate.
• Advise on long-term resource mobilization strategies.

Compensation
At this stage, Mamo Sphere is an early-stage organization and is not yet able to offer a fixed salary.
Instead, this role is structured around performance-based compensation, including commissions or agreed success fees on eligible partnerships, sponsorships, fundraising outcomes, or other resource mobilization activities, where appropriate and mutually agreed.
As Mamo Sphere grows, there may be opportunities for this role to evolve into a longer-term compensated position.
