We are now looking for a Partner Sales Manager to join our team in Nigeria.

 

Purpose of the Role

• Managing & grow regional Distributor network 

• Building strong relationships with distributors 

• Manage Order & Sales forecast, Marketing & Training schedules for Distributors 

 

Customers

Internal: Sales, Admin, Training department, Marketing, Product & Solutions Team 

External: Customers, suppliers, subsidiaries, Distributors 

 

Main activities

• Create & manage agreed actions plans per distributor 

• Marketing plan coordination between Marketing & Distributor 

• Target setting per Product Group & forecasted over the year through CRM on Demand tool 

• Mapping of key customers (existing + new alignment with KAM) per distributor 

• Develop Technical capability of distributor through driving attendance of distributors to technology 

workshops, seminars as appropriate 

• Full Vertiv product exposure/coverage to be pushed through distributors 

• Monthly / Quarterly reviews with Distributors and internal management 

• Contract management for region per distributors, coordinating with CoE relevant people 

• Providing monthly order forecasting 

• Logistic/payment support 

• Incentives based on distributor targets 

• Any other duties as deemed appropriate by your line manager. 

 

Experience / Skills / Other

• Mandatory

o Bachelor degree in Management or similar 

o o 3-5 Years’ experience in similar management role 

o o MBA helpful 

 

• Pre-requisites 

o Fluency in English written & local language 

 

• Preferred background

o Regional experience, understanding of distributor landscape 

 

• Travel

o Extensive travel expected at 70% of the year
