Job summary
We are looking for a proactive and creative Operations & Social Media Associate to help grow and manage our fantasy football community. The successful candidate will manage day-to-day social media activity, create engaging football and FPL content, promote contests and offers, attract new players to the platform, and support platform operations. This role suits someone who understands football culture, follows Fantasy Premier League closely, communicates naturally online, and is comfortable working in a growing digital business.

Responsibilities:
Social Media and Content:
- Manage our presence on X and Instagram.
- Promote contests, freerolls, mini-leagues, rewards, and platform features.
- Respond to comments, mentions, and direct messages.
Growth and Player Acquisition:
- Develop ideas for attracting new players.
- Promote invite codes, freerolls, referral campaigns, and other acquisition offers.
- Engage relevant Nigerian football and FPL communities.
- Identify suitable creators, communities, pages, and partnership opportunities.
- Encourage new users to register, connect their FPL accounts, and join contests.
- Collect feedback from prospective and existing users.
Platform Operations:
- Monitor scheduled contests, freerolls, promotions, and important FPL deadlines.
- Verify that public contest and promotional information is accurate before posting.
- Help users resolve routine onboarding and platform questions.
- Provide regular summaries of growth, engagement, user feedback, and unresolved issues.
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of football and the English Premier League.
- Active understanding of Fantasy Premier League.
- Experience managing social media accounts, online communities, or digital campaigns.
- Excellent written English with a natural and engaging communication style.
- Good judgement when publishing time-sensitive or promotional information.
- Comfortable using social platforms, content calendars, spreadsheets, and basic administrative dashboards.
- Ability to work independently and respond quickly around important match and FPL periods.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Reliable internet access and availability during agreed working hours.
Preferred:
- Previous experience in sports marketing, gaming, fintech, fantasy sports, or community management.
- Basic image or video editing ability.
- Experience with customer support or digital platform operations.
- Understanding of the Nigerian football and fantasy-gaming audience.
- Existing relationships with football communities, creators, or FPL groups.
