Job Summary

As the Operations Officer, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the day-to-day operations of our logistical processes. Your role will involve managing inventory, coordinating with Delivery Agents and Clients, ensuring timely delivery, and implementing strategies to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning:

  • Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with company objectives.
  • Analyze market trends and customer demands to anticipate logistical needs.

Inventory Management:

  • Oversee inventory levels and ensure accuracy through regular audits.
  • Coordinate with the procurement team to replenish stock as needed.

Logistics Coordination:

  • Coordination of the Delivery Agents from the point of Pickup to the complete delivery process to various locations.
  • Ensure timely acceptance of orders by the Delivery Agents.
  • Educate and liaise with Delivery Agents to optimize delivery routes and reduce costs.

Quality Control:

  • Implement procedures for inspecting, testing, and certifying products before shipment.

Team Leadership:

  • Hire, train, and supervise a team of logistics coordinators, warehouse staff, and other operational personnel.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Customer Relations:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for client inquiries and concerns regarding logistics.
  • Resolve any issues or disputes promptly to maintain customer satisfaction.

Performance Monitoring:

  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery rates, inventory turnover, and fulfillment accuracy.
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as necessary.

Compliance and Safety:

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards.
  • Implement safety protocols to maintain a secure working environment for staff and protect company assets.


Requirement:

  • A year of experience in a similar role.
  • Diploma in any relevant field.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Great leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Good critical thinking ability.
  • Good problem-solving skills.
