Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the business to ensure efficiency and profitability.
- Coordinate and supervise all departments to achieve operational excellence.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team that consistently exceeds customer expectations.
- Drive sales performance by implementing effective business and marketing strategies.
- Monitor inventory, minimize waste, and ensure optimal stock management.
- Resolve customer and staff complaints promptly and professionally.
- Ensure excellent customer service standards across all departments.
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to improve productivity.
- Monitor staff performance, conduct regular evaluations, and identify training needs.
- Prepare operational reports and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Foster a positive work culture that encourages teamwork, accountability, and high performance
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or HND in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Operations Manager or in a similar leadership role, preferably within the retail sector.
- Strong knowledge of retail operations, inventory management, and business development.
- Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other business management tools.
- Committed to long-term career growth and continuous improvement.
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to take initiative and work with minimal supervision.
