Job summary

We are looking for a results-driven Operations & Growth Manager to lead our Calabar operations and drive business expansion. This role requires a proactive individual who can increase delivery volume, acquire business clients, optimise operations, and build systems that allow the business to scale.

Job descriptions & requirements

Responsibilities:

Business Growth:

  • Acquire new business customers and e-commerce partners.
  • Develop partnerships with SMEs that require delivery services.
  • Increase daily delivery volume and revenue.


Operations Management:

  • Oversee riders, dispatch operations, and customer service.
  • Ensure efficient delivery allocation and operational discipline.
  • Improve delivery turnaround time and service quality.


Strategic Initiatives:

  • Develop initiatives to scale the business.
  • Identify new market opportunities.
  • Implement systems that improve operational efficiency.


Performance Management:

  • Track and report key metrics such as daily deliveries, revenue, and customer acquisition.
  • Implement performance standards for staff.


Customer Relationship Management:

  • Maintain strong relationships with business clients.
  • Ensure excellent service delivery and customer satisfaction.


Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in logistics, operations management, or business development.
  • Proven track record of growing a business or managing high-volume operations.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to acquire and manage business clients.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Experience working with logistics, courier, ride-hailing, or e-commerce operations is an advantage.
  • Highly proactive and self-driven
  • Results-oriented and accountable
  • Strategic in thinking and execution
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Focused on business growth and profitability
