Chinese-English Interpreter

Responsibilities:

• Provide real‑time oral interpretation between Chinese technical supervisors and local workshop workers during daily operations.
• Accurately convey technical instructions, operating procedures, safety warnings, and quality requirements in both Chinese and English.
• Support basic administrative communication, e.g., worker leave requests, tool collection, and other routine matters.

Requirements:

• Must be a Nigerian national with valid local identification and the legal right to work in Nigeria.
• Fluent spoken Chinese (Mandarin) and English, with strong listening comprehension – able to understand accented Chinese.
• Previous experience as an interpreter in a workshop, factory, or engineering environment is preferred. Candidates without experience but with strong learning ability and adaptability are also welcome.
• Responsible, patient, and possessing good communication and teamwork skills.
