Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and legal documents.
- Provide expert advice on HR and employment law matters, including employee relations and compliance.
- Guide the company on intellectual property (IP) law, including trademarks, copyrights, and licensing.
- Ensure corporate compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Advise management on legal risks and mitigation strategies.
- Support dispute resolution processes and represent the company when necessary.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3-5 years post-qualification experience working with reputable corporations or law firms.
- Strong expertise in Contract Law, Employment/HR Law, Corporate Governance, and Intellectual Property Law.
- Membership of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) with active license to practice.
- Excellent negotiation, drafting, and analytical skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to provide practical legal advice.
- Ability to work flexibly and respond quickly to on-call needs.
