On-Air Personality/Radio Presenter

Responsibilities:

• Present engaging live and recorded radio programmes in line with the station’s style, audience, and programming objectives.
• Research, plan, and prepare show content, including interviews, discussions, music segments, entertainment, news, and audience interaction.
• Engage listeners through phone-ins, social media, competitions, interviews, and community-focused conversations.
• Work closely with producers, programme managers, DJs, and technical staff to deliver smooth and professional broadcasts.
• Introduce music, guests, adverts, announcements, and sponsored content in a clear, confident, and entertaining manner.
• Conduct interviews with guests, artists, community members, and public figures professionally and engagingly.
• Ensure all broadcast content complies with station policies, editorial standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Promote the station’s brand, events, campaigns, and programmes on-air, online, and at public appearances.
• Contribute creative ideas for new shows, segments, promotions, and audience engagement.
• Maintain punctuality, professionalism, and readiness for assigned shifts, live broadcasts, recordings, and station events.

Requirements:

• Applicants must be willing to live and work in Agbor, Delta State, to be considered for this role.
• Proven experience in radio or media management, ideally in a presentation or DCA role.
• Strong understanding of radio broadcasting, programming, and production processes.
