Reliability Engineer III

Responsibilities:

• Lead the implementation of comprehensive reliability engineering methodologies, root cause analysis (RCA), and risk management strategies to minimize downtime and optimize asset performance.
• Analyze complex equipment data sets and benchmark operational performance against global industry standards to drive continuous improvement and systemic loss elimination.
• Develop and execute long-term lifecycle asset management plans and sophisticated maintenance strategies that align with production targets and safety regulations.
• Provide expert technical leadership and guidance on major projects, acting as the primary point of contact for resolving complex engineering challenges.
• Facilitate effective communication between cross-functional teams and diverse stakeholders to ensure technical solutions are integrated seamlessly into daily operations.
• Mentor junior engineering staff and drive internal innovation by identifying opportunities to implement advanced predictive maintenance technologies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or an equivalent field from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 10+ years of professional experience in reliability engineering within oil and gas production, refinery, or processing facilities.
• Demonstrated success in lifecycle asset management and the development of large-scale maintenance strategies.
• Proven track record of technical project leadership and the ability to independently resolve critical operational or mechanical issues.
• Advanced proficiency in interpreting technical data to drive decision-making and operational efficiency.
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex reliability concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
