Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome visitors, clients, and employees warmly and professionally.
- Answer and direct phone calls, taking messages and routing calls as necessary.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the office space and environment.
- Manage the cleaning of the office to ensure a hygienic and pleasant workspace.
- Assist in coordinating meetings, setting up conference rooms, and ensuring supplies are well-stocked.
- Manage office equipment and coordinate maintenance and repairs as needed.
- Sort and distribute incoming mail and packages, and prepare outgoing mail and shipments.
- Perform general clerical tasks, such as data entry, filing, photocopying, and scanning documents.
- Assist in managing appointments and schedules, providing timely reminders and follow-ups.
- Provide administrative support to various departments, including preparing documents, reports, and presentations.
- Maintain and update office records accurately and promptly.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure efficient office operations.
- Handle ad-hoc tasks and assignments as directed by office management.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional relevant education is a plus.
- Proven experience as an office assistant or in a similar administrative role is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Basic knowledge of office equipment operation.
- Strong multitasking abilities and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Reliable, trustworthy, and possessing a strong work ethic.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Friendly and professional demeanor with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt and learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.
Remuneration: NGN 40,000.00 - 60,000.00 per month
Location: Ability to commute/relocate:Â Lagos: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
